  7.  @julogames1534  We won‘t pay reparation. The issue is settled, WW2 ended almost 80 years ago and the grandchildren cannot be held accountable for it. And if you want reparations, you received territory, whether Stalin did it or not. Take that up with Russia.

  8.  @lxdead5585  As you rightly say, you got some of Germany's land. The the loss of land in the east up with Russia for they took that part... Blame them for that and take that up with them. As for the quality of the land - even destroyed cities are worth something. And I distinctly remember that it was quite good land. And yes - too late. I can't rightly go and demand reparations from France for the Napoleonic wars can I? Or the 30 year war in the 17th century? How far back shall we go? The people currently alive in Germany did not do anything to you. We are guilt free and as far as I know, Polish law does not punish the grandchildren for the crimes of their grandfathers do they? Answer me - why should I pay my taxes to Poland? I never did anything to Poland. And how would Poland force Germany to pay reparations anyhow? Just face it, this is hust PiS party making publicity stunts for their constituents and gullibles like you fall right for it.

  9.  @zahirhussain5913  You just quoted the main argument for colonialism... You are a funny one. The Balkans never asked for Ottoman civilisation - it got imposed on them. Neither did the Indians ask for this and it got imposed onto them by the British. It's pretty much the same.

  13. I really don't care. I am 25, I never caused WW2 and neither did my parents or grandparents. I will not pay a ridiculous sum of money when I am not at fault for doing something. Poland got some of the oldest German lands after the war - that ought to be compensation enough. Take it up with Russia for the Eastern border.

  14.  @zahirhussain5913  Indians also had administrative control in British India. Nehru was a barrister and visited reputational British boarding schools and attended Cambridge ffs. Does this mean this was good? Nope, Ottomans repeatedly fought their way through the Balkans. They sacked cities, they raped women (as men do in war). Heard of the Battle of Kosovo? Should tell you exactly how Ottomans expanded and how decidedly unliked their civilisation was and how the people resisted but had to give in face of overwhelming force.
