  7.  @yourmother2739  What am I forgetting? Their limited effectiveness? Gendarmerie, Parisian police, FFI, all contributed to the liberation of Paris, most significantly by making the U.S. army change its plan to by-pass the city. Le Clerc's adventure on its own was not going to do the job.
