  2. Supporting UK [airstrip one] made sense 1940/45, but UK was not corrupt, as is Ukraine now. Ukraine has yet to conscript 18>25 year olds into the army; UK and USA did it in WW1 & WW2. PBS "Lacking manpower, Ukraine resorts to harsh means to force draft dodgers into combat"

  9. A U.S. official said Ukraine should consider dropping the age of military conscription from 25 to 18. It's a stark acknowledgment that Ukraine doesn't have enough troops to fight the seemingly endless volume of Russian soldiers, especially now that they're being bolstered by North Korean troops.
