  7. Joe does not accept the meaning of 'communion', being part of a whole, where pro-life is an essential element. Denial is his choice; it's Christian 'tough love' to exclude him.

  15. Back in the 1990s, the British PM [Tony Blair, not an RC at the time] was receiving the Eucharist at Sunday mass, going with his wife [an RC]. Members of the parish object to this, a non-Catholic individual, receiving the most precious gift with the RC faith. The priest stopped indulging Blair, who some years later went on [allegedly] to embrace Roman Catholicism. Nobody from that family is ever seen to be promoting pro-life ideas in public, so no better than Joe & Co in my opinion.
