  2. BREAKING: Disgraced, defeated former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is considering resigning entirely from Congress before his term even ends according to sources familiar with his thinking. While he intends to stay at least until a new Speaker is selected, he could end his House career soon after. McCarthy claims that he wants spend more time with his family — which is just political jargon for "I'm a failure and I'm throwing in the towel." He whined that he was given a "bad break" but says that he's "still the luckiest man alive." Of course, the "bad break" he got was completely of his own doing. This worm of a man made a devil's bargain with MAGA to get elected Speaker in the first place and in the end he got burned. McCarthy will go down in a history as a spineless coward without a single accomplishment to his name. Never before has a Speaker been ejected from power. That will be his legacy. Good riddance traitor.
