@paulrevere5197 In the aftermath of the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Ukraine found itself in possession of a significant nuclear arsenal inherited from the Soviet Union. However, Ukraine was faced with economic challenges and political instability, and keeping the nuclear weapons was seen as a liability that could potentially lead to international isolation and conflict. Therefore, Ukraine signed the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances in 1994, which provided assurances of security and territorial integrity in exchange for Ukraine's agreement to eliminate all nuclear weapons within its territory. Ukraine then voluntarily dismantled its nuclear arsenal and became a non-nuclear state, with its nuclear warheads being returned to Russia for dismantling. The decision to give up nuclear weapons was not without controversy, with some arguing that it left Ukraine vulnerable to external threats, especially from Russia. However, the move was seen by many as a step towards promoting international peace and security.

@paulrevere5197 The Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances, signed in 1994, was a diplomatic agreement between Ukraine, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Russia. The agreement provided Ukraine with security assurances in exchange for Ukraine's agreement to eliminate its entire stockpile of nuclear weapons, which were inherited from the Soviet Union. The Budapest Memorandum promised to respect Ukraine's independence and sovereignty within its existing borders, as well as to refrain from the use of force or the threat of force against Ukraine. The signatories also committed to providing Ukraine with economic and technical assistance to aid in the dismantling of its nuclear weapons and to promote peaceful cooperation.

Ron DeSantis signed a bill in Florida, SB 1718, that makes it illegal for immigrants to work, particularly in the agriculture industry. This has caused a significant problem as many workers are choosing not to work and keeping their children out of school out of fear of deportation. The shortage of workers could lead to a crisis in Florida's agriculture sector. Even truckers have shown their opposition to the law and are refusing to enter the state, resulting in empty supermarket shelves.
