There are 37 million people living in poverty in America, while around 700 billionaires sit on untaxed wealth. A tax on the ultra-wealthy is not a punishment. It's fairness. Period.

** sugar is the number one enemy of the poor & and the wealth maker for the rich: 1. it makes us sick 2. keeps diabetes a profitable desease 3. exercise will not protect you from any sugar desease.

I love the stock market because when it goes up we get nothing, but when it goes down we all lose our jobs. Except during a pandemic when it goes up and we still our jobs.

"8 guys in this country have more money than 4 billion people combined, but yeah, the mom buying groceries with food stamps is the problem"

If everyone is losing money, where is it going? It's almost like there's some people hoarding massive amounts of wealth and managing to profit off this disaster.

fact: there is no such thing as "unskilled labor." The concept does not exist. You cannot take a boardroom CEO and dump them at a dock and call them a longshoreman and expect them to perform flawlessly. It is a fake idea designed to depress your wages.
1
fun fact: Bernie Sanders is known for reading ALL OF BILL before he votes on it. His fellow senators frequently joke about it. Apparently, actually reading a bill before you vote is cause for hilarity in the Senate

fun fact: in USA, no minimum wage can afford a two bedroom rental

stop blaming cows for global warming!!! less humans is the solution!!!

Medicare for all? No thanks, I don't want to pay for other other people's health care. I like private insurance, where I pay for other people's health care AND for the salaries of bloodsucking middlemen whose entire purpose is telling me NO when I need medicine. :-P

Why does it feel like most of the angry people at school board meetings would fail a drug test?

what's the point of allowing billionaires to accrue all this money if we pay them every time their companies lose value? That's what the billions (tax breaks) we let you keep are for, dipshits!

"Who's going to pay for it?" ---- last words for many dying Americans in the hospital!!

** when the bank says I can't afford a $950 mortgage so I pay $1400 a month in rent instead **

funny: FBI raids Brooklyn man's home after he hoarded over 5000 boxes of N95 masks and was trying to sell them at 700% mark-up. How come the FBI doesn't do the same to insulin manufacturers?

I do not mind being taxed for: - free Healthcare/ Dental/ Vision - education - safe roads, highways, bridges - affordable housing - clean water - broadband access - renewable energy - free fire rescue/ police/ coo-coo brigades/ and ambulance rides ** add more to comments

** I'm rubbing my head after getting a cavity filled. Dental assistant says, "aw do you wanna Tylenol?" I say please and she leaves to get me one. $15 on the bill. I thought she meant, like, from her purse!

fun fact: El Salvador has cancelled all rent, water, phone, internet, electricity bills for three months AND they're building a hospital IN CASE of a major outbreak. A third world country did THAT!

Instead of just buying a birthday cake, get a baby tree from your local tree nursery.

"Blue or the deepest MAGA red. That's it. That's the choice."

answer these questions: 1. how many times did the rich have a tax break in the last 20 years? 2. how many times did we raise the minimum wage in the last 20 years? ** I hope you see the logic here **

If you say, “Rudy Giuliani” into a mirror three times, in the dark, at midnight, he still can’t practice law.

pretty weird how there's always a trillion dollars just lying around whenever corporations need to be bailed out but there's never any money when children need healthcare or a simple school lunch. oh well, just one of those things I guess.

it's wild how so many Americans view the outsourcing of domestic manufacturing to China over the past 25 years as some devious Chinese plan for domination rather than a strategy by which the American ruling class exploded its profit margin by exploiting global inequality...tsk tsk tsk

My family has planted a tree on our birthdays since 1992 and we have not stopped. I wish everyone would do this for the planet we take advantage of everyday.

Walmart and Amazon have over 2.5 million workers in the US combined, which comes out to at least 1.5% of the total voters in the 2020 election, so if Democrats want to gain an easy ~1.5% in every state, all they have to do is campaign on helping these workers form labor unions.

1. if everyone would plant a tree on their birthday and make it a yearly tradition, the Earth will be a better place!! 2. if hospitals would plant a tree for every new born they deliver, the Earth would be a better place!!!

Wait. Biden’s large adult children aren’t at the G20 with him? Weird.
