Comments by "maynunal" (@maynunal) on "Anderson Cooper ripped for 'condescending' message after Trump town hall" video.
It has been observed that Donald Trump, the former US president, is skilled at using the tactic of gish galloping in debates. This involves presenting a barrage of information or arguments, often unrelated or irrelevant to the topic at hand, at a fast pace without allowing the other person enough time to effectively address each point. The aim of this technique is to give the impression of having a strong argument, even if the points presented are weak or flawed.

"CNN’s town hall was a reminder that Trump supporters are in fact bad people — in the sense that to support Trump, and defend Trump, requires them to become their absolute worst selves."

“Elon Musk may think that Tucker Carlson is simply an “opposing viewpoint” that deserves a megaphone to amplify his “freedom of speech,” but we see things differently here at Tribel. Conservative voices are welcome on Tribel, but we will not allow anyone who promotes insurrection and spreads bigotry, racism, homophobia, and Russian propaganda to post on Tribel because protecting our users comes first. Constitutional freedom of speech does not guarantee anyone the freedom to threaten our democracy by manipulating and brainwashing users on a private company’s platform.”

Just a reminder that nine days after he was confirmed, Neil Gorsuch sold a 40 acre property to the head of one of the nation’s largest law firms, which has since had at least 22 cases before the Supreme Court. Gorsuch never disclosed the buyer. SCOTUS needs a code of ethics.

Mark Pomerantz testified today behind closed doors about Bragg’s Trump probe. House Republicans are now publicly complaining about how ‘uncooperative’ Pomerantz was. In other words, they got nothing out of him, and his testimony was the non-story we always knew it would be.
