The judge himself was appointed by Trump. But it gets even better... Judge Trevor McFadden sentenced former Marine Federico Klein — who served in the State Department under Trump — to almost six years in prison for storming the Capitol and striking police officers with a riot shield. This guy was a full-blown, overthrow-the-government traitor. He was convicted of a whopping eight felonies and was identified as part of the first wave of rioters who attacked and pushed through police lines. He was, in every sense, the tip of the MAGA spear during the coup attempt. Eventually, he wedged a stolen police shield between doors to prop them open for other insurrectionists to pour inside. The judge stated that his treasonous actions "prolonged the mayhem” and that he was "front and center in that chaos." Justice. Is. Served.
