Lives lost every day, with no end to the abuse.
We cry out for change, for measures to be taken,
But instead, leaders choose to leave us all forsaken.
With school shootings, family massacres, and now this,
The toll of gun violence, we cannot dismiss.
Thoughts and prayers are not enough, it's time for action,
But Republicans ignore the call, like they have no compassion.
