The Washington Post reports that the exposure, which has affected about 10% of the security team, can be traced partly to large-scale campaign rallies held by Trump leading up to Election Day, where social distancing and mask-wearing guidelines were not enforced. Other members of White House staff have also tested positive in recent days, including chief of staff Mark Meadows and HUD Sec. Ben Carson, as well as Trump campaign adviser Corey Lewandowski.
