  6. Since the Citizens United ruling in 2010, dark money spending has skyrocketed. In 2012, outside groups spent over $300 million. In 2020, outside groups spent over $3 billion. Our electoral system has been turned into a playground for big corporations & the super rich.

  20. By the way, a tax of up to 5% on the world’s multi-millionaires and billionaires could raise $1.7 trillion/year. That would be enough to lift 2 billion people out of poverty and fund a global plan to end hunger. We can't afford NOT to tax the rich.
