  12.  @prim16  They are bad for various reasons. One of them: they are unreliable. The other one: the enviroment is still screwed with them. Maybe even more. Don't hear good things about third world countries dumping Western solar panels in their land and waters, dirtying up drinking water of the local people and animals. Green energy is unreliable, experimental and we are not in the right decade or even century to make the change. Maybe not ever.
