  5.  @arnaldobellucci9033  Nothing smart about it. The Europeans are naive, and don't realize the trap they have fallen into. The US is in decline, so they are cannibalizing their own allies. Europe has now isolated itself from the world, with more American bases then ever and are now literally self-destructing themselves. Germany is bankrupt, have said they will not be able to pay for the EU budget untill 2027 because of lack of money (all spent on covering energy costs and Ukraine). Germany now demands all other EU memberstates to contribute 66 billion dollars to the budget, money they don't have. It has raised frustrations. Russia and the EU had a very good deal going on, and EU's anti-Russian policies will be the death of the block. It was a long run, but the EU is finished. This Ukraine war will be the death of the EU. It's over.
