  4. Russia didn't expect Europe to commit suicide. They expected nato to help Ukraine, which it did. But Europe threw everything at Russia, even their own limbs. If Russia can drag this fight out, and retake Kherson later, then Europe is dead. When it angry civilians and politicians in the USA, support to Ukraine will dwindle. This will mean an easier fight in 2023. Europe will not be able to help Ukraine anymore.
