  8. China has offered Zelensky a way out. This offensive happens, and China's offer would be invalid. The offensive fails, and Zelensky will be blamed. Ukraine will get further pushed into war, and once Trump returns Zelensky will be abandoned. Zelensky should be worried. Also: the West can forget about Taiwan and China.
