You can't command the wind or the sun to come up whenever you want. Fossil fuel will still be the answer in 5 years, and people will still get in line for Russian gas. Or in case of Europe, buy from a middle man and make it more expensive for themselves. Atleast Ukranians can now finally see the Europeans as their brothers for the arm and the leg they sacrificed in trying to beat Russia. And Europe can finally feel good and show the world they are no longer nazi's.

  17. @Apsoy Pike Nuclear has its risks and problems too. It needs alot of power to operate, and can malfunction just like that with dire consequences. Hating fossil fuel and Russia is one thing, trying to end dependency abruptly is another. The transition has to be safe and affordable, this is going out of hand. Winter will show the world a new perspective about this green tech fiasco.

If things go South then you'll be fighting for LNG's, who btw are Russian too through a middle man. Europe (UK too) now pays more for less. Europe will now be less competitive on the global stage and be forever in the shadows of USA and BRICS-countries. EU might not survive, and UK too might break apart considering the absolute disrespect England has shown to the rest of the UK.

This is unethical on our parts, every Ukranian death from here on out is on our conscience. Screw Ursula von der Leyen's "their fighting for Europe" crap. Seriously, screw her. Ukraine is a liability to EU. The already fragile EU will be dragged down with Ukraine as a member. Billions of euro's will go there, and we will never see a dime of our already sent money back. We have become leaderless in the free world. The West are filled with weak men and hysteric women. Trump is needed to sort things out.
