@MelikeO use common sense and reason, and you might see the truth. Truth is, Armenians were rich and influentual, the Ottoman elite was primarly Armenian as well as high millitairy positions in the Ottoman army were occupied by Armenians. On top of that they had alot of support and praise from the West AND Russia, mainly because they were Christian. Christians supporting Christians was normal, it wasn't like the time of Mehmet the conqueror. This time Europe was strong. So what happened? Why did it go wrong? Well, the Ottomans lost many wars in the Balkans and against the Russians. The humilated ottomans needed a scapegoat, and the Armenians were perfect to take the blame. The ottoman sultan had planned decades to get rid of the christian minorities in his empire (there are many documents indicating it and the orders he gave the pasha's to destroy the Armenians are also known) with many false flag attacks on low priority (mainly Kurdish) villages. The timing was perfect. With help of Kurdish tribes, they attacked the Armenians, and at the same time they also took the Assyrians and Greeks with them. This ofcourse fuelled Armenian nationalism, and with European support they fought back against the ottomans. The sultan had counted on this and rest is history. The fool believed killing the Armenians would save the ottoman empire. No self-reflection, no self-responsibility. There are many reasons the ottoman empire fell, but the Armenians were not one of them, atleast not as big as they made it seem.
The ottoman empire was in major debt with European powers, the ottoman empire could have ended in the 1700s if France and Great Brittain had wanted too but they chose not to bother since it wasn't a priority. They had many colonies, and maintaining them was more important. You were behind in every field, from technology to weapons to human rights and many more. The discovery of the America's were the beginning of the end. The ottoman empire would have died sooner or later. If it wasn't killed by ataturk, it would have died a little later.

@MelikeO it is not MY vieuw, it THE vieuw. The only logical and truthful vieuw. Your denial of Armenian genocide is a human rights violations in itself. I understand why people denied it in the past, fear and ignorance is strong in the turkish people. But it is 2020. Why on Earth would you still deny the truth, with so many evidence? Your ways are wrong. Ataturk was wrong in alot of subjects, he underestimated the human desire for freedom and thus brutally oppressed the Kurds and the muslim population. They continued his ways even after his death. And what did that lead to? A devided country, filled with hate among different fractions and an authotarian leader. It is now islamists vs kemalists vs nationalists vs fascists vs racists vs pro-Kurdish nationalists vs atheists and so on and on. Despite the chp, mhp, iyi party and akp all being fascist and having basically the same ideoligy (turkish superiority), they still have different parties and groups and hate each other. Now I heard Abdullah Gul started a new party (I believe it was his name) who is no different then erdogan.
Turkey needs reformists, new leadership and a less polarising party variety. The only light I can see is the HDP, their ideas are truelly democratic and they wish to solve the Armenian- and Kurdish issue. Heard they are pro-human rights too, and support different religions and lgbt. That is your best bet. I believe peace with the pkk will change the country for the better and shut the fascists up forever, too. You should look it up. You can not destroy the pkk millitairly, only people you end up hurting are the innocent and they in turn will run to the arms of the pkk. Your invasion of Syria proved your intentions, a power-hungry fascist state who wants a neo-ottoman state. News flash: that will never happen, neither will your retarded turan.
