  1. Russia is the biggest economy in Europe by ppp, and is trading more with the world then ever. Its economy has grown, despite 15k+ sanctions, and continues to grow more. Learning Russian is a good thing, as eventually we will need to approach the Russians again to address the security architecture in Europe and to make sure the West and Russia stay connected.
