  1. The EU going full warhawk does not serve their interests. It's already bad enough that one side went into Ukraine and started a war for whatever reason, which is dangerous in itself. It would serve the EU interests to de-escalate quickly and broker a deal. But if both sides are warhawking then there can be no peace. One side will take all and the other side will lose everything. The losing side here is the EU.

  2.  @olgahorvathova5876  I am aware of the history of this conflict and the region. Weak nations like the Baltics and Poland are deathly afraid of Russia, which I understand. But what excuse do powerful nations like Germany and France have? They are at the mercy of the USA now because of their own actions, and are in full warhawk mode. If WW3 does break out Europe will be the battlefield. If it doesn't break out Europe will lose economically. Ukraine is losing, meaning the EU is losing. Europe gambled everything on Ukraine. If Ukraine loses and the USA gets Trump back the biggest loser will be Europe. Trump has a chance to save his nation, to reverse some problems caused by Biden. If Trump chooses to focus on domestic issues and China, and abandons Europe and Ukraine then Europe will collapse. They can't go back to Russia and do business like usual, all bridges are burned. It will take years to restore ties and trust, years Europe doesn't have. They are dependent on America now like a disabled patient is dependent on the hospital. If the nurses and doctors abandon the patient they will just wither and die. Europe has put itself in an impossible position, this will end bad.
