Because Russia is now uncool and they would feel embarassed to say it. The EU has 150 billion dollars worth of assets in Russia, while Russia only has 37 billion dollars in the EU. Most of the 300 billion that was talked about earlier has already been brought back.

@ZIGZAG12345 Soon the European countries will demand a price cap on Norwegian fuel and them to share the profit. After all, Norway is part of the collective West and like with communism it is not Norway's profit alone. We're going to the socialist route in the West, it's increasing looking that way. Which basically means more inequality, because since when has socialism really worked?

@ZIGZAG12345 The EU managed to force Switzerland to break their neutrality by putting sanctions on Russia. It's why Credit Suisse is falling. Norway blew up nordstream along with America and the UK and even though at the moment America won't be hold accountable Norway is a different story. After this war there will be no going back to business as usual. Russia will go after Norway and expose them. And with energy prices souring EU will force Norway to sell their fuel under a price cap. Norway will have to obey, they are no longer independent. This might finally break the EU, an increasingly irrelevant and weaker becoming institution. And in the end the EU will just dissolve, because it serves no purpose besides obeying America.

The West has burned all bridges with Russia, there is no going back. Russia will take Ukraine, all the assets, de-dollarize the world and fight the West anywhere. Africa will soon be fully liberated by Russia and China.

The worst part of this all? It didn't have to be this way. Russia went into Ukraine with a small army, it wasn't even an invasion. It was a simple scare tactic, get in, march to Kyiv, talk with Zelensky and get out. It was to scare Zelensky into implementing the Minsk accords. The West overreacted and managed to destroy themselves. Soon it is Europe who will be colonized.
