  1. Ukraine doesn't have to give consent, their opinion is not important. They made sure peace is impossible, meaning you have to win physically to get what you want. Compromise is not necessary here either. If Zelensky had made peace in April he wouldn't had lost Donbas. He gambled it all, and lost. And so did nato.

April 2022 was their best chance to make peace, they could had saved everything. Crimea would be Russian, but Ukraine would benefit from strong Russian ties and friendship. Now it's too late, far too late. Ukraine will lose everything, and they will curse the world for eternity in their despair.
