When you are stateless, you gotta survive somehow

Mothers think of their children's safety, while the young think of freedom. She chose wisely.

@futurexjam2 there were many Kurdish kingdoms and states. Last one was 100 years ago. Study hard and you will find the truth.

She was probably raised in Turkey. She must have been a student or something.

Thank you, Indians and Kurds share the same ancestory and look alike!

@Erkn.yz16 Kashmir is just going to join with Pakistan and betray India.

@Kemal Per PKK is not the problem. A big nato state like Turkey should easily defeat a Kurdish insurrection. You are deliberately continueing this war. Peace could have been achieved long ago, but too many big players who profit from this war. The biggest of them all: Turkey and Erdogan. Don't be sheep, these are all schemes and the turkish people are used as pawns.

@antoonvanmaris58 men and women fought together

Turks were pretty forceful when imposing their languague and culture. They wanted to be like France, not realising France is much better then turkey will ever be.
2
@bansheee1 and it was forced btw. You go to Eastern Turkey and see how the Kurds are treated.
2
@bansheee1 no, nothing has changed. You won't get hired with a Kurdish name, speaking Kurdish on the streets is looked at with contempt or even threats and Kurdish schools and education isn't allowed. Not even as a minor on a university nor on schools with primary Kurdish students.
2
@bansheee1 I have studied the case thoroughly, and I partly agree with your points. A federal system would work. We Kurds have lived under constant fear and war for over 100 years. We would not betray Turkey if a federation would come. We are both majority sunni muslim, our common religion and history could be the foundation to peace and stability. Also, if Turks would come in contact with the Kurdish languague and culture through Kurdish lessons it wouldn't be such a foreign thing anymore. It would decrease racism and discrimination naturally. In time, it would become accepted to be Kurd. Our capital is Ankara, our cultural capital is Diyarbakir/Amed. We should stop this fighting as soon as possible and create a real solution, the West is playing us. We are allowing this by playing along. We can do better.

We kinda are, but we have in time mixed with semitic people.

@bansheee1 it isn't enough. Some places are ok with Kurdish, most aren't. And Kurdish education is a must. Kurdish languague is spoken by 30%-40% of Turkey. It needs represenation, it needs to become an official languague too. We are 2 different people, both sides needs representation.

@bansheee1 there are around 30 million Kurds in Turkey. That is more then 30%. Second, no it isn't segregation. All schools should teach Kurdish. It should be mandatory. Different cultures exist in Turkey and it should be embraced. This is a good thing. It will lead to a more open-minded society. This will solve 99% of Turkeys problem. Turk and Kurd united. We would no longer fight, trapped by the West who wants us devided. And last, no. Germany should not allow turkish schools and lessons. Germany is not our historical lands and the germans are not obligated to do anything for turks or Kurds. We have lived together for centuries on the other hand, its only natural we Kurds are allowed to practice our culture and languague in peace.
