Arda no, Byzantum empire was part of Rome too, and has always been Roman. The Ottomans came in the 1300s somewhere, and died in 1923. So almost 600 years.

Arda not true. The turks who came from Central asia were warlords, smaller in number but rutheless. When the mongols destroyed the Islamic empire, turks helped and even were part in destroying books and Quran. The world could have been 100 years more advanced then now if it wasn't for mongols and turks. Then you turks took over what remained, turkified Anatolia through force or stoking the locals against the Byazantum and making them turk willingly. You were shaman then became muslim. Rest is history. You didn't achieve much in your history, and only conquered Constantinople and Europe because the Christians were fighting.

@kaanerturk7536 you achieved nothing long term. During the end of the first world war, ottoman terrirtory were among the poorest and least developed in the world. The 20th century created alot of problems in old ottoman terrirtory, and even now there are still troubles. Why? Because the ottomans did nothing. They conquered land of weakened rivals and then they stopped doing anything for 500 years. No technological achievements, no diplomatic ties, no allies. Only thing you did was being arrogant of how great you were.
