Mr if you want everyone to stop talking about other people’s race why don’t you start with yourself. I’m an old white man who worked construction all my life. I worked with Black men all the time as long as I did my share of the work. Never had any problems at all, but, they were men who didn’t work with slackers. I learned how to place reinforced steel from an all Black crew, learned how to place and finish concrete from an all Black crew. I was 17 years old and those men started teaching me because I did as l was told and I worked hard. You see in those days the youngest least experienced guys got laid off for the winter. Thanks to those men allowing me to learn from them l became a much more valuable worker and l didn’t get laid off. They were just good men helping out a very young guy. They never mistreated me because they knew that I’d bust my ass for them. So personally your constant white bashing is offensive and disrespectful to those men who didn’t care about My skin color.
