If any officials or their family members hold overseas passport they have to decide which country they want to belong to as dual citizenship is no longer recognised in China! Let's say you became a canadian citizen then your chinese citizenship is automatically cancelled.

  11.  @MrGscp  Oh Izzi! There is no dual citizenship in China anymore! As soon as you become a citizen of another country then your Chinese citizenship is cancelled automatically. Please don't pretend to know anything regarding Chinese laws. Ho fighting for HK is like the Chinese government arguing about the gun laws in the US. Irrelevant because she no longer one of us the day she gave up her citizenship. Anything else you care to know about Chinese laws or cultures just ask and I will tell you.
