Especially, if he is not winning gold medals and bring glory for America anymore. White Americans will never truly trust or accept him as one of their own. He is an American only on paper. That's why they label everyone that don't look like them by putting their ethnicity in front of the word American. He is an Asian/American and you will be label as a Latino/American. African/American, Pacific Islander/American, Arabic/American etc. They are the only people who can claim to be the true American. Even though they came from Europe and stole the land from the first nation people by force.
