How about the US return Puerto Rico back to the rightful owners cos you don't assist them with much except as a base for the military and a tiny amount of financial aid comparable for a nation. What about Guam? The name definitely don't sound american at all. Furthermore If that senator deeply cares about these issues and not just here for favourable optics to serve his own purposes than he shouldn't have to read from a written scripted line of questions but know it off by heart and the wordings would be more measured instead of the typical American chest beating Gungho crap but never backed up with actions.   9. It's so awkward for me as a proud Chinese to watch american senators in a state of illogical fear, paranoia and silent panic over China's rise and economic success. Furthermore these senators' weak behaviours are being watched by everyday americans whom have no knowledge about China at all and really buy into their message that China is the real enemy which will create anti china sentiments at first but soon enough it will just blur into anti Asian sentiments which will end in violence in hate crimes against Asians. I'm happy for him to prove me and the wrong and succeeds but at this point, I believe that he is about to find out that just cos you are born in the US and lived your life patriotically is not even close to being enough to qualify you for the top job unless you have the unspecified/unspoken traits that the King makers must have before they will give you their blessings.
