  1. There was various online surveys done in China by our govt to gauge the attitudes of the Chinese people regarding china's support of Russia's special operations in Ukraine. It was a resounding 85%+ in favour of continuing support for Russia. The majority of the reasons given by the netizens is that this conflict was the making of the US/NATO and the years of sideline conflicts between Ukraine and the 2 breakaway regions with more than 14,000 lives lost in the 2 breakaway regions as well as lives lost on the Ukrainian side but most importantly to halt NATO expansions which threatens Russia's national security or create uncertainty for the Russian people forever at the very least. However the netizens are not so supportive when it comes to being the mediator unless invited by all parties. We just don't need to give the US govt anymore excuses to attack China on top of the existing hostile activities coming from the US
