  1. When was the last time you visited a Viet open market? But I won't trash all Vietnamese just cos of a few bad apples. Even the Viets working at the airport customs dept openly try to extort money out of visitors leaving the country with passive aggressive threats. Also, whatever it is that you claim to know about China is just as applicable to the whole of Asia. Vietnam's manufacturing and economic success is largely due to China's investment in the country by building factories and the supporting infrastructure.
