@toddmintz4269 how about the fact that he didn't know without question how fast he was going. He assumed and did all this for no reason. It's an ARRESTABLE charge. Not one that mandates arrest. Sam was compliant and didn't fight nothingb why arrest him?? I'm not one of them police are evil people but this shit is unnecessary.

Wanna know how I know? Because I'm a balif and I've seen it a million times. Did he deserve to get pulled over? Sure. Did he deserve a gun drew on him? No. Did he deserve to be threatened with a taser so quickly? No. The number one order of direction of any officer is to defuse a situation first than get to what your job entails. This officer, while justified on the stop, went to far with the arrest. I sent this video to my best friend who just so happens to be a sheriff out of Oakland, CA, where I'm from, and he said the officer was absolutely way more aggressive than needed and that he quoted a speed matter of factly and that there was no way to definitively say that. He also said that officer testimony is 100% thrown out in speed related issues unless reckless driving is involved and this was in one lane. Wasn't weaving in and out of cars and was completely compliant upon contact.

@toddmintz4269 the officer in this case knows he's going too far. That's why he's going so hard on the sprayed lights and shit. Sam was being such a good dude about this all. It's clear he was arrested arbitrarily and one can't help but wonder why the officer was so quick to arrest him like that and harp on BS.

Some patriotic would argue that speed limits are unconstitutional and there are some counties in the country that don't even enforce speed laws but still cover reckless driving. Point is speed limits are arbitrary numbers. Arson, as you compared speeding to, is not on the level with it. That's why there's sentencing guidelines. So people like you can't arrest someone the same way for selling drugs jaywalking. Also, you have the OPTION to take someone in for speeding. It's not mandated.

Also the threat of violence all because he didn't initially understand commands. Also he arrested the guy without telling him why and that is illegal. Also according to officer salters jacket which is public information and I looked up, showed that he was reprimanded for inappropriate comments before and that he wasn't consistent with who he did and didn't arrest. Also the question, Military or NFL? And the subsequent arrest made it clear that he was being prejudicial. Which is against the law. So the cop got off easy, by your logic the cop should be fired and arrested and serve time because he's a criminal per the State of South Carolina. So go impregnate (make pregnant) your sister. Again.
