  1. Even though chickens are ‘cold hardy’ , I just wonder and think a little bit of warmth would be better for them. However, being off grid it wouldn’t be very pleasant to be hearing a generator all night long. Wonder if a small solar panel would do the trick to produce a small amount of electricity for heat lamp.
