It is an important lesson to learn. The more friends you have, the more powerful you are. I think your ancestors learned that during the Roman empire but somehow that fell apart. Eventually, it was maybe learned during the Byzantine empire and that fell apart. X-members joined the Ottoman empire and they slowly advanced into Europe. If they had taken total control, there would not be a Canada or USA today.

Also, at present time, Ukraine is defending the rest of Europe, America, Armenia, Georgia all alone. Ukraine is acting as a fence. If Ukraine wasn’t there, the it would have been Romania having a war with Russia now, if there was no Romania, it Russia would be having a war with Hungary, and so on. Eventually, you are going to have Russia at your doorstep. That is what united we stand, divide we fall means.
