@patriciarenaud4918 OK, well how about reducing the immigration to 1000 people/y for now. I think it is 500,000 p/y now. That is a very huge number for a population of 40 million. Also, get some jet fighters, air craft carriers, nuclear weapons. Canada should be a real first world country. If the Consrvatives can do it, I would vote for them.

@rob000 No, those were slow changes over long periods of time. The current issue is that large amounts of CO2 is being released, the planet is warming rapidly, the acidity of the oceans is going up rapidly. Problems do happen naturally. We can't do anything about that. We can only do something about the problems we cause.
