  1. Chlorine is also dangerous to certain metals such as iron and aluminium. They will get coated with FeCl3 and AlCl3. In other words, it damages tools, vehicles. I'm talking about chlorine in the form of a gas. Chlorine also dissolves well in water and I assume it can still attack such metals. It also forms HCl and HClO in water.

  2.  @anteatershow1331  : Some people buy it bc they think the tap water is polluted. Perhaps they add NaF or sodium flurosilicate. Perhaps there is too much lead, copper, zinc in the water.
