@Jeval-496 Better funding for the canadian military is obviously needed but Canada and the rest of NATO should send troops and deal with dictators such as Putin and Illiam Aliev.

@chong2389 It is better to not let a foreign country fight your wars. In this case, Russia has more resources and a larger army. In essence, Ukraine is defending the rest of Europe from an invader.

@GuadalupeRamirez-tg9jp What I am trying to say is, where do you draw the line? Where do you draw the border? If someone invades Montreal, Laval could say, well, the enemy is not attacking us. Let Montreal spend money and soldiers on the war. Next thing you know, Montreal folds and Laval is invaded. Terrebonne says, well, let Laval handle their problem. It is not my problem. It is better to form a large union of countries and work together. A wise man once said: United we stand, divided we fall.

@GuadalupeRamirez-tg9jp If people are poor, the solution is for the government to press a button and cheques get printed for them. Of course, big businesses play a role in reducing jobs and the government can’t do much about that.

Ukraine simply chose a part of the world where it has Russia at its door step. The same goes for various countries that act as eastern europe. So when an enemy invades, those countries end up defending England, France, Italy and so on. In other words, western europe owes some help to the eastern parts of the european union or europian empire. Or, the other solution is to open the canadian borders fully, and all ukrainians and all the surrounding people should move to here. During WW2, England tried that technique as well. They decided to let France deal with Germany and mostly, it would be France that would lose soldiers and their cities damaged. The plan was to join the war only when necessary. France quickly lost the war and Germany started to bombard England who was begging the USA for help. The response from Truman was “Sorry, we past a resolution and we aren’t going to get involved in the next wars of Europe.”
