The AI model in question cost a lot of power, which is not friendly to environment 2. The research will cost a lot of money, which means it will benefit the rich (or easily monopolized) 3. The model will learn all the racist and sexist things people say on the internet and think it’s normal language. It will also not be able to learn what’s not on the internet 4. The model doesn’t actually understand language, it’s just making calculation base on previous data, so this may be the wrong path for future A.I. research 5. The language the model produce is very similar to human, so it can easily be used to spread misinformation
