@captainprototype755 I’m fine with asking better human right for minorities, cuz CCP doesn’t even care about Han, let along the four other races. But I can’t support the idea of calling XinJiang Turkistan. It’s like Crimea belonging to Ukraine. Democracy is a wonderful thing but it cannot be applied in terms of territorial dispute

@captainprototype755 I can only agree with Taiwan independence, because it has a functioning government. Before being part of China Tibet was a still a feudal society. The way I see it, China was like the Britain, they colonized the land forced modernization on them. The Tibet independent movement had no real politics, it wanted to be independent because it’s “anti-Chinese”. But I don’t believe you can build a function government just base on something you stand against, not to mention Tibet is landlocked, not self sufficient with food, and the extreme terrain. If you want an example, look no further than Mongolia

@captainprototype755 and to me, Taiwan is already pretty independent. Canada is still technically loyal to the British crown, but it’s just a empty word.

@captainprototype755 that’s a pretty naive statement, there is also 20 billion dollar worth of trade. China is one of Taiwan’s largest trading partner, and I don’t see how putting a few words in their constitution and pissing of China would do Taiwan any good. This is the fight between America and China, so let them fight. We common folk don’t get a say in this, the best we can do is to avoid being caught up in this.
