@Amitpandey12334 I’m afraid I disagree. The Confucian politics views are a bit different from what most people think Confucianism is. Aside from an emphasis of family, it also absorbed the ideas like providing the bare minimum for the public (from Laoism) and making sure the public is not educated politically (from Faism).
The authoritarian nature of the CCP is also derived from Confucianism politics, where the head of state is nearly a mystical/divine existence, that’s why even thou CCP leaders don’t have much public appearance, they still have high support rate in the country
Instead, if we talk about about tawian, the DPP (governing party) is extremely westernized, with a lot of social justice and populism mixed in its politics. Even though I do not agree with the CCP, as a conservative, I am more in disagreement with the current Taiwan government for its mob-rule legislation on nuclear energy.
Sorry for the long reply, I’m just someone interested in Chinese politics
