@orlandodiciccio2748 I have high confidence in this, buddy. Especially if you live in Vancouver. Me and my friend was once told to stop speaking Chinese, then my friend switched to German, and the dude just walked off

@martinmikel7640 speaking another language in public doesn’t suggest they don’t speak English. Also, even if they don’t speak English, it’s them who will experience the inconvenience. Why not simply ignore them? What’s the point telling ppl to “speak English” unless they are talking to u?

@hello855 which is why having it as a requirement for public office is stupid. I mean, the mayor of Vancouver or Edmonton will never need to use French to address his voters or cabinets.

@martinmikel7640 I’m will learn French when I move to Quebec, which is never. You learn a language because you need to use it. I can speak ancient Egyptian if I want to in public, as long as I’m not talking to someone, ok?

@martinmikel7640 and it’s a stupid law. Learning a language is always useful, but one should never “must” learn a language. I see this as part of our freedom
