I think it's a terrible name, pro-black because it's incredibly confusing and it's very understanding why people get confused since Pro means you support but the idea behind pro-black isn't that you support black people but basically you just revolve your entire life around them and only them.

You are one person so it's practically impossible for you to claim that what you are claiming is true. Homophobia isn't something that you would only find in the worst of places. You can find homophobia and racism or anything else in very nice neighborhoods. It's nice to hear that it hasn't been an issue in two places you have lived in but your experience hardly means it's true for other people in other areas.

For example you can't be pro-black if you date a white person? When you break down the words Pro just means you support so it doesn't make sense to have this slogan or whatever you want to call it be called pro-black because they are taking it way beyond just supporting and no wonder why people are confused when you say you can't be pro-black and date a white person because people are thinking you are saying you can't support black people if you date a white person which doesn't make sense. I didn't mean to give the idea that I was. I just found it a little hard to understand why you had a difficult time understanding. People of all races have different opinions even when compared to opinions of people who share the same race. Maybe it's a misunderstanding that a lot of people have including myself until recently with the poor choice of phrasing the idea as pro-black. The idea of being pro-black doesn't actually mean you support black people it means you basically only support them. You only date black people, you only shop at black businesses and things such as that. Maybe you were thinking the same thing that I and many other people were thinking when they first heard of this which is that Pro black means you support black people when in reality apparently it doesn't but if that's what you were thinking I can understand why you were confused as to why someone who is Black wouldn't be pro-black.

At the very least you are implying that it's wrong but what's the difference between a non black person and a black person saying it? The only difference is their race so you are judging them based on their race, you're judging their actions differently based on their race as being the sole Factor and that is treating someone differently simply because of their race. It's a very simple concept. I think you should try sitting down yourself and thinking things through a little more calmly before you get wound up and all emotional and start saying things that really just make yourself look illogical. I mean really if it's a slur it doesn't simply stop being a slur because someone's race is different. People can say and do say it with a racist derogatory manner no matter what their race is. It's not like Asians are black people or white people are any race magically are unable to be racist against any particular race so your race doesn't change whether or not it's a slur or whether it can be used that way, all you are doing is judging someone's actions differently based on their race which is as I said a racist action.

Also you can't really cut something out of your vocabulary unless you completely forget the word exist because by definition of vocabulary once you know where it is part of your vocabulary whether you use it or not. On top of that language is for everybody whether you like it or not. You cannot prove for a fact that language is not for everybody and language is used to communicate therefore it is for everybody and to say that someone should not do something such as use language because of their race is racism because you're judging them differently based on their race.

It would be helpful to a lot of people I think if your idea of what it means to be pro-black was much more clear in its name then just Pro black and that's why a lot of people get confused. What you are supporting is more along the lines of only black rather than pro black or only pro black instead of pro black.

Sometimes somebody says something that just isn't true and sometimes someone just makes a bad argument and so you point out that they are wrong or that their argument is bad just because what they said is wrong or their argument is bad and it can be as plain and simple as that.

Because I saw many factually incorrect takes in these comment sections and when someone says something incorrect or rather provably incorrect I point it out. I never said it was my place or anything like that which you are seeming to insinuate. Regardless of whatever they do it doesn't change whether or not a certain Viewpoint is factually incorrect or not. Anybody of any race can make as many race focused boundaries as they wish but that doesn't change the fact that it is racist because that is a provable fact based on the definitions of words that define that act as racism. How you or I feel on that subject is irrelevant because how we feel will not change the fact that what is defined as racism still applies.
