  1. when the tipping point comes and the ice on the land mass of Greenland is allowed to slide into the ocean after the sea ice which holds it back breaks away, ocean levels will raise suddenly and flood the coasts worldwide ...the same thing will happen in Antarctica but not as soon since it is still cold enough to maintain the sea ice...if warming continues it'll take a few more yrs before the Antarctica land mass ice starts to slide into the ocean and raises the sea level even higher...if the thermohaline circulation in the N. Atlantic is stopped due to the melting of Greenland ice injecting fresh water into the ocean that could bring a new ice age
