  1. I’m sorry but she sounds naive. Free is not the answer to anything but making things affordable is. Getting the corruption out that is the reason why things are ridiculously expensive will be very difficult. Wanting the government to control everything like childcare, healthcare, and ignoring all of the things oil produces when there is no replacement, makes that person lose all credibility. When the government gets involved in any industry, the costs goes up and the quality drastically goes down. This is common knowledge. Personal experience is good but that is not enough. A million different people have a million different experiences but that don’t make them the right fit for politics. Begging for government childcare pisses me off. Millions of women in the past have been working women and survived without the government help. Why can’t women today with the many more resources available do it too? To reduce cost is to have more competition and not putting the government in charge.
