  1. Why aren’t car manufacturers pushing back on this? Unless, of course, they know if they fail, the government will bail them out. As a Navy veteran who once stood watch on diesel propulsion engines, I understand how that system and nuclear propulsion works. I do not see how wind and solar can provide the same propulsion levels as diesel and nuclear especially when the wind don’t blow and sun don’t shine 24 hours a day.
