  1. Rising interest rates help the rich and hurts the poor. I am not rich but I love the amount of interests my accounts are getting now compared to the slumps of the past few years while enjoying by 2.2% interest for my mortgage. And because I don’t have any credit cards or personal loans, raising interests rates don’t affect me like it is hurting so many. The stock market is for the top echelons who have money to put aside while the food market is for the people counting pennies. It is a shame they rate how well the economy is doing base on wealthy people and not everyday people.
