  1.  @michaeltotten7508 It is true people are not eating out as much, especially in big cities. When my child (now an adult) was growing up, we had brunch after church, left overs on Mondays, Which restaurant Wednesdays, Take out Thursdays, Fast food Fridays, dinner and movie Saturdays. Even though I bought groceries, we didn’t eat home much. Now, I stopped eating out. In the rare occasion that I do, I try to support small businesses and no longer go to the chain restaurants.

  2. No one sees how the businesses having their employees to rely on tips takes the burden off of them? Last year when I was New Delhi, India, my tour guide lectured me on tips. I was offended because it is your employers responsibility to pay you fair wages not tourists. We tip if we enjoyed the service but your ability to feed your family do not fall on me.
