  515. @usernotavailable25 Your comment disappeared from my post but it was in my email. I hope you didn’t delete it because I wanted to thank you for responding. I normally don’t apologize for things but I have to this time. Please excuse my American ‘ignorance.’ The examples you gave about diversity makes lots of sense. As an American, our news is inundated with diversity about race/gender blah, blah, blah but linguistic, religion, ethnic, custom, tradition and culture makes so much sense. Now, that you mention it, yes, India is incredibly diverse. As I mentioned in previous comments, having the opportunity to have visited so many different religious temples during that one tour was amazing. I went to four of them including an Islam temple. I would have never experienced that if I didn’t travel outside of the US. And now when people talk trash about Muslims, especially Islam, I defend it because I learn about them. Specifically Islam, I learn how they see their women as the Queen and why they do not allow other people to touch their Queen. As for the many different languages, I’m lucky English is the business language of the world. But I also had a translating app, just in case. I didn’t learn different languages because I was traveling to many countries and I couldn’t learn all of their languages. Your GDP might be 3.5 trillion for a 1.4 billion population but at least your country is not 32 TRILLION in debt! Congrats on surpassing China population to become the most populated country in world and recently celebrating your country’s Independence Day. When I learn that being there and it was the same year as one of my parents, I will remember that forever. Thank you very much for responding. I really, really appreciate it. You said you tried, you did and you did great!

  694. I’m not a billionaire, nor millionaire, shoot, not even a thousandaire but I am comfortable. I understand the original story very well as the granddaughter of two janitors (both grandmothers) who didn’t have higher than a high school diploma. I got my MBA, and my only daughter is in grad school now, 4 years after graduating from high school. When she was 2-3 years old, both me and her dad were active duty, swapping her in the parking lot at my job because we both did shift work. She wasn’t old enough to see that hustle. When I retired after serving 20 years, divorced and move to another state, my transition was extremely difficult and I haven’t work since. To her, because she had a life better than a lot of people, in private schools, driven in nice cars, living in a nice subdivision, never lacked anything, I believe she thought life is easy when you don’t work and everything given for free. Sounds familiar? (She admires aoc) I don’t think she really understood what the word retirement means. That I had to work hard for 20 years so I don’t have to now. Right now, she is ungrateful and we no longer have a relationship because in will not accept her saying she is oppressed. I do not plan to leave anything for her. But I will say, I did teach her financial management skills, something I learned and paid attention to because of seeing my parents struggle. If she don’t want to use what she learned, it’s on her. But she was taught how save, invest, pay bills on time and buy with money you have and not put it on credit.

  746.  @phoenixj1299  Thank you for this information. I really appreciate it. Yes, I am impressed with India and what Modi is doing. You mentioned India is a very diverse country, please explain that. Unlike the US and UK, it don’t seem racially diverse. Most Asian countries don’t have racially diverse countries - I’ve been to about 7 different countries. Economically diverse, not so much because it is either the haves, haves not or the working hard. The landscape, yes because you have the snowy mountains, tall buildings, then the tropical areas. But I am curious to hear your explanation of diverse. As a black woman, they were swarming me to take pictures, making me feel like a movie star (I am not but it helped my self esteem issues). As an outsider looking in, I feel the poverty issue is because of the population. Talking to different people there, the haves who can afford large families have one, two or three kids max, while the haves not who really can’t afford them have over five kids. I don’t mean to sound mean but birth control will help with their population but then they will become like China that will have a population problem in the next 20-40 years. It was sad to see people running up to cars at the red light begging,Meitner babies on their hips or young girls doing cartwheels. I personally never seen that in the US but that happened in Cairo as well. I admire India. They have the secret to grow a country. They got their independence in 1947 (I learned that there because I didn’t have international history classes in school), over 75 years and that wasn’t that long ago. They grew not only their population, their working class and proficiency rates drastically improved within the time as well. That’s admirable and is the way to grow your country. < In the US, it have been over 400 years and some people are still blaming slavery for their own failures.> Anyway, when I was flying from New Delhi to Mumbai, the universities advertising in the airplane magazine advertised engineering, IT, medical, education, even tourism fields not the gender and race crap being taught at US universities especially the Ivy Leagues. I regretted not taking the magazine or a picture of that. India have outpaced the other Asian countries to have the smartest demographics in the world. In the US, they are the highest wage earners now. That is why I went to visit to see and learn. I do see India frowning more powerful and I do believe instead of our businesses having factories in China, it should be in India, if not in the US. Going back to Syria, as an American, I will be the first to say, the US is not as innocent as we have been taught/ lied to believed. I know that now because I have been traveling the world and talking to different country’s men, including many Muslim countries, but for the 90%+ who never left the country or watch international news, they are still very ignorant to the corruption.

  911. I have been wondering where were the American gangs at, allowing foreigners to take over their turf. I’m so disappointed in the GOP failure to message this issue to get the headlines. How long ago was the debate and I have yet to hear one of them mention how the Clinton foundation contributed (somewhat) to why those Haitians are fleeing their country. I remember the earthquake in 2010 and the billions that were supposed to be for Haiti. They should divert the conversation and headlines to that. Another part of this conversation that is not happening is why many illegals are being dropped off in many small towns but not being dropped off in Beverly Hills, Martha’s Vineyard, NW DC, Northern Virginia or any of the wealthy zip codes in the US whose tax revenues are can accommodate a lot more. I haven't heard any GOP remind people how Martha’s Vineyard acted when those 50 illegals were dropped off. Now thousands are being dropped off. Why haven't anyone mention how this is modern day slavery? They are brought here for labor. The difference is, they are being funded much better lives than our ancestors. Lastly, the amount of money being spent on illegals. Why are so many politicians so comfortable handing over billions to fund people who are not paying taxes today? An extreme version of buy now, pay later (buy the illegals now so they can pay taxes later). Our seniors, veterans and even young adults can't afford to live but they are giving these illegals thousands of dollars, in some states 2 years free rent, money for houses, cars, getting these things with a ssn or credit score. Rant over 😡.
