I like Trump but spreading rumors is very childish and will not win over the demographics he is having problems with. Why will DeSantis, who was just overwhelmingly re-elected governor, drop out to run for Senate now? In that case, he can wait until after his gubernatorial term ends. Trump needs to grow up, put in his big boys pants and just ignore DeSantis or go on the high road and keep all attacks on the economy, border, sexualizing kids, foreign policy, etc.
