To the people who keep saying the US economy is doing better than other industrialized countries, have you traveled to those other countries to compare it? Or are you just repeating what other people are saying? As an American, I have traveled to many countries within the last 20 months and with the currency conversion, the USD goes much further in other countries except the UK (even though a lot of items seems cheaper there). Those foreigners seems much more content with living than in the US. Also, the numbers they use to measure our economy is not representative of the average working Americans but it caters to the wealthy money makers especially those who are making bank with the stock market. Our food prices and rental costs have not gone down. Gas was down but it is rising again.
