‘That’s nuts.’ Very appropriate. My child went through that same thing but it started for her in college. As a freshman, she said she was demisexual or pansexual. Sophomore, a pansexual or demisexual (the opposite of the previous year. I can’t remember that bs.) Her final year, bisexual. But by graduation, queer. She had a boyfriend then. I asked why she feels she had to put herself in a box. This is a black child who went to private school from K4-12, lived in middle class suburbs, drove luxury cars, went to Paris and Toronto for school trips, been to all 50 states and had everything but claimed to be oppressed because of her race and sex. I gave up.

@HelloAutoCarz Unfortunately, I do not have a relationship with that child right now but whenever our relationship is restored, I will sponsor a trip for her to spent some time in a 3rd country. I’ve actually spent the last 2 years traveling the world, including going to multiple African 3rd world countries and countries in subcontinent Asia. I learned a lot during my travels and I want her to visit those places so she can learn how privileged her life and other American citizens are.
